Experienced with contract delivery through FIDIC Gold, NEC4, and highly modified project specific contracts A influential leader, enthusiastic, strategic with a keen business acumen, and managerial experience in both large Multi National companies and smaller SME's, having also owned and operated Andy Heekin & Associates. I am a hands on Leader, Corporate Sponsor and Engineer, and throughout my career I have always strived to ensure that my clients get a final product or job that has been assessed, and designed to meet the client’s needs while ensuring that the end product is both high quality and value for money. I am a firm believer that the design of any component, job or project should be assessed and evaluated, to ensure that it is not over designed purely for the sake of it. Everything should have a factor of safety, but the cost of this should be reviewed against the possibility of failures. On a Daily basis I work with Local Authorities and Governments, PLC's, large multinational consultancy practices in the design development and delivery of projects from the design stage to final build and operate of the infrastructure.
