About Andy Kreyche
A lifelong interest in astronomy blossomed while Andy lived under the clear desert skies of Tucson, Arizona. In the 1990's he became involved with Project ASTRO, an informal science education outreach program developed by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific. This led to work as a presenter the De Anza College planetarium in Silicon Valley. He integrates demonstrations and hands on learning to make the planetarium as active a learning experience as possible. With the modern planetarium becoming a digital theater, he remains passionate about providing context to the programs and grounding visitors in the common experience of living under one sky.
