Here are 4 things you need to know about me: I love lending and see it as a path to helping people achieve their goals. Over the past 20 years, I have been involved in various roles across multiple companies. All have centered around the idea of lending as a solution to meeting the needs of Canadians, whether that’s buying a home, paying for children's education, or increasing cash flow in retirement. I am a builder and I get things done. In the mortgage broker channel, I have played a critical role in the launch of 2 lenders to market, representing a total 7-8% market share. In 2001, I was the business lead for the consolidation of the largest real estate lending portfolio in Canada at the time, a result of the acquisition of Canada Trust by TD. I am a sales enabler. I admire and empathize with people in the sales profession for the time and dedication they put into their business. I love finding opportunities to add value to their business, whether that’s through a strategic partnership, new or enhanced product offering, or a re-positioning of the business to focus on new growth segments. I am a people leader. I lead through my humanity and my actions. I am brutally honest but fair. And I get energized when I see people around me developing in their role and moving on to greater opportunities.
