About Andy Lesperance

My decision to become a financial advisor was a long journey. I was very interested in this field when I graduated from college in 2007. At the time I felt I was too young and inexperienced to effectively help people with their finances. It turned out to be the right decision. Honestly at the time I was not great at running my own finances. I was living paycheck to paycheck, had a small amount of debt, and not saving for my future. When I met my wife and we talked about starting a family, I knew we needed a different path. I studied personal finance and took us through the long journey of turning around our finances. Since college, I have owned and operated two successful businesses. A few years back I realized the business I owned was not where I wanted to be long term. Selling the business was a long process, but it was the right decision for our family. I now get to use my experiences to help individuals, families and businesses meet their goals and live out their dreams. How many professions get to help people plan for the times in life we celebrate? Financial Strategies and investment management strategies are the overall broad services we offer. This can include 401k options, retirement planning, saving for college, saving for a wedding, planning for a business startup/career change, business succession planning, saving for a big purchase, budgeting, and many other areas. We also help clients during the difficult times in life such as job losses, losing loved ones, planning for the unexpected, and any other challenges around finances. At Edward Jones we take the time to get to know our clients. We then use our process, which has been refined for over 100 years, and help our clients navigate an ever-changing world of finance and investing. We partner with our clients for life and help guide them through both the good times and bad. My wife, Liz, and I currently live in Holland, MI with our two children and dog. I personally enjoy reading, working out and running. As a family we enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, golfing, and boating.
