Promoting circularity to generate sustainable growth is no longer negotiable for consumer-facing brands. It’s imperative! For more than 13 years I have managed the life cycle of products, created authentic sustainability initiatives, and built bridges with cross functional teams in China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, and India. I am committed to shaping change around consumer waste, human rights, responsible purchasing and sourcing. Proficient in GRI, SASB, LCA, SDGs, and Higg Index as well as Photoshop, PLM, PDM and Abode Illustrator. Some of my impact to date includes: · Advocated policy and legislation changes around Senator Biaggi’s fabric act alongside industry trade groups, NGOs, academic leaders, and corporations including Mara Hoffman, NEST, NRDC, and WWD. · Built business case and strategy for circularity at Eileen Fisher that leverage Ellen Macarthur’s systems. · Leveraged metrics from life cycle analysis (LCA) to reduce impacts of products and apparel by compiling metrics into Sustainable Minds platform. · Managed Gap Kids largest growth category, sleepwear, in two years to $95M as sole designer incorporating sustainability trends and recycled poly and organic fabrics, working towards eliminating polybags, and pushing for 100% cotton components for garment recyclability. · Protected American Eagle’s customer needs and proposed new areas of potential growth for customer testing through gaining C-suite and cross functional buy-in.
