Andy currently delivers bespoke training and consultancy as a subject matter expert (SME) to individuals and groups from many public and private sector entities within the UK and overseas. He has developed mainstream and more bespoke ‘immersive’ consultancy and training inputs in relation to:• Risk, Crisis and Security leadership and management across a spectrum of risk.• Leadership, tactical and strategic analysis and management of intelligence (LEA and commercial).• Proactive fraud & crime prevention; financial investigation and money laundering or illicit finance.A widely experienced leader and Senior Investigating Officer, he delivered safe and appropriate outcomes for numerous covert and overt operations in organised crime, threat-to-life, counter-terrorist, fraud and illicit finance investigations. Following his police retirement in January 2017, Andy was appointed as the Compliance Officer for the UK Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority; a statutory role that he undertook on a part-time basis until May 2018. He has worked extensively with government and private sector agencies to develop the public/ private sector partnerships in its response to a raft of legislative and regulatory changes within financial crime arenas. He focuses a significant proportion of time to working with media channels to enhance understanding of crime prevention issues as well as providing advice and perspective in ‘factual entertainment’ genre programming.
