CORE COMPETENCIES and ACHIEVEMENTS * Successfully managing S.I. Board Supplies within Sheffield Insulations at Ruislip and Dagenham depots. Responsibilities include meeting sales and margin targets by building and motivating a dedicated sales team. Took this business from 4.5 million to 7.8 million turnover in first year.* Successfully managed branch sales and operations for Nevill Long, West London depot. This depot had previously been loss making venture for a number of years. Prior to joining, the depot had recorded a (-38k) loss. Increased overall sales by attracting new customers and reducing branch costs, improved bottom line profit to 120k in first year. Sales increased from 2.9 to 4.1 million per annum. Management included taking charge of warehousing, logistics, setting K.P.I’s, Inventory control, establishing picking and packing procedures, H&S, reducing property maintenance costs and vehicle repairs.* Successfully managed the relocation of Nevill Long depot from ft2 operation at Heston to a ft2 at North Feltham. Established an Encon depot within the new location and took the overall business from 5.0 million to 11.4 million in first year from this new site ( turnover and profit doubled in first full month of trading).* Currently with Penlaw & Co as Operations Manager, also involved in H.R. Transport Compliance and Health and Safety for Enfield, Sydenham, Greenwich and Wickford and other group depots. All four Branch Managers reported directly to me, as well as the Group Transport Manager. I took responsibility in June 2016, at a time when the group was undergoing a period of rapid growth, particularly the 4 southern depots which increased turnover from just over 20 million in 2016 to a projected 50 million for 2019.
