About Andy Pemberton

I have been in the electrical industry for over 25 years. I started as a young apprentice at just 16 years of age with N.G. Bailey & Co Ltd. It was a fantastic apprenticeship that really helped me grow as an electrician, and gain valuable experience in the commercial & industrial sectors. I went on to work for other companies in the commercial & domestic sectors, and even new builds, and eventually setting up ALPS Electrical. Everyone asks how we came up with the name ALPS. It is quite simply my initials. However I also love the mountains, the fresh air, hiking and skiing, and so it really seemed to fit perfectly. I should mention, that I did also have a number 1 double platinum selling album in the UK & South Africa after success appearing on The X Factor in 2005 with my brother as 'Journey South'. We went on to enjoy two hugely successful tours around the UK, and the world, and had a great time in the process. However that is a story for another day! Alps Electrical has gone from strength to strength over the years, employing other electricians, and keen young apprentices. We have gained a reputations throughout our commercial & domestic clients of providing a first class service from start to finish. My wife works with the business as our planning & financial manager. Isabella has a background in financial services, and has ran her own successful businesses, and together we work towards building great long term relationships with our customers, and a service that is second to none. Having moved into the renewable sector over the last few years, we provide electrical services and renewable energy technologies, including Solar PV, Battery Storage & EV Chargers, to commercial and domestic customers throughout Teesside and the surrounding areas. We also provide free energy audits to our commercial customers, where we will advise on potential energy saving measures, and any renewable technologies that can be introduced to further reduce energy consumption and improve a businesses carbon footprint.
