Thank you for your interest. My name is Andy Reed and I am an experienced Orthopedic/Sports Medicine Sales and Managerial Executive with over 25 years of success with Orthopedic startup companies. I have a proven track record of exceeding responsibilities and outstanding achievements. My career began at Acufex Microsurgical, Inc. from the initial start-up phase to a leading Sports Medicine and Medical Device company (Division of American Cyanamid/American Home Products.) My responsibilities were as a Sales Representative and Regional Sales Manager covering geographical areas on the East Coast, West Coast and all the Mid-Center Rocky Mountain Regions. Upon the acquisition by Smith & Nephew Endoscopy, I moved to ArthroCare Corporation. I was involved in the initial start-up and sales development phase in this highly innovative, leading orthopedic medical device company that developed, manufactured and promoted minimally invasive surgical products to the Sports Medicine medical community. ArthroCare products were based on internationally patented Coblation technology. ArthroCare Corporation was also acquired by Smith & Nephew in September, 2014. I am ready to move to another opportunity and challenge to augment my successful history as I am highly qualified in the development of both reps and managers with the proven ability to motivate others to exceed goals and lead by example. I am looking for a new position with a company that will utilize my skill set and at the same time help them to expand and grow. I am very strong in the clinical arena and have established strong physician relationships with a history of being an excellent team player and honest representative of my company.
