Particularly adept at launching and operating high growth sports media businesses globally, including digital channels, streaming services and IP-based businesses in the sports, media, entertainment, and lifestyle industries. Specific experience includes:(i) planned, launched and currently operate award-winning sports streaming services and digital networks globally, including U.S, Europe and India;(ii) launched and operated the first global e-sports league with events, operations and television distribution throughout the successful turnaround of the U.S. professional beach volleyball tour (AVP) into a strong brand with Fortune 500 advertisers/sponsors, strong television ratings and increased attendance;(iv) led consumer products, licensing and location-based entertainment and live events for National Geographic brand;(v) co-owned and operated Asia-focused licensing and marketing company which included the Body Glove surf and lifestyle brand; and (iv) oversaw the transition of an entertainment and sports-focused venture fund/incubator into an operating company, including divestiture of venture’s existing investments, downsizing of company, replacement of staff and recruitment of new staff to enable the company to move in new direction.
