Since March 2025 I've been part of Foresight’s North East and Yorkshire team, responsible for sourcing and executing investments of £2m to £15m in growing businesses across the region, and providing strategic advice to portfolio companies.Prior to Foresight, I spent six years at Bestport Private Equity, a provider of PE capital to high growth companies in the UK lower-mid market, with a focus on management buy-outs and cash-out deals. This covered Origination, Equity Raising, Debt Raising, Diligence, Execution, Portfolio Management, Investor Relations, and Exit, and sitting on multiple boards as well as the Investment Committee.Before Bestport, I worked in mid-market M&A with Grant Thornton's Corporate Finance Advisory Team, with a sector focus on IT Managed Services, Cybersecurity, B2B Telephony, Unified Comms and Aerospace, with deal focus of £5m to £50m EV range. Previously I was in EY’s Audit team, focussing on TMT and Consumer Products including FTSE 100 clients and high-growth PE-backed groups.I've lived in Teesside for several years, and split my time between Foresight’s Newcastle office, and being on the road meeting new businesses and advisors across the North East and Yorkshire.
