About Andy Rosser

I graduated with a Computer Science BSc from the University of East Anglia in 1982. Almost immediately I started software development for one of the best up & coming Micro PC; the Apple II (leading on to the Apple II+,then IIe, IIgs, Macintosh, Lisa then finally the familiar Mac family). My father & I formed LSA after he took voluntary redundancy from ICL Computers, initially providing solutions of our software and the Apple II system complete, together with installation, training and on-going support. Soon after we were joined by my brother Steve who brought Industrial Process Control experience into the business and allowed us to accept specialist contracts from across the world sometimes requiring Steve to work in countries like Singapore, Brazil and USA for several months at a time during the final months of commissioning large chemical plants, plus other more mundane local locations like Sellafield. In the midst of Apples' evolution, IBM with MS-DOS then Windows became more established allowing our experience to diversify and comfortably encompass both Apple and Windows systems. The business developed and expanded recruiting hardware engineers & software programmers and my role gradually moved from software development to systems support & management. From 2017 onwards, we've kept putting our 35+ years experience to good use keeping the LSA business mission at the front of technology, this maintains LSA's well established provision of full IT Systems Management, Web Design, Programming & Hosting and continues to be relied upon by our many clients, these range from individuals through small to medium sized businesses. Historically project management & support would have involved much travelling, now with efficient use of advanced Remote Management systems we can put our 35+ years experience to good use from our Marple based offices for clients throughout the UK.
