Background

About Andy Schoenberg

To utilize my broad engineering background to support product and process development. My polymer characterization knowledge is a tremendous tool in the engineering toolbox to decrease the time and engineering efforts to find viable solutions to engineering problems. Specialties: I have built 7 laboratories specializing in Polymer Materials and Composites Characterization and modeling throughout the Northeast in a broad spectrum of industries. I have extremely diverse engineering skills ranging in applications from polymer synthesis to Semiconductor Wafer Level Chipscale Packaging development. My problem solving skills married with my team building and situation management skills enable me to be highly effective and productive. Having designed and built the Composites Science and Manufacturing A.A.S program at SMCC, as well as exclusively taught the advanced science courses for 4.5 years, I have honed my skills as a trainer and lecturer and have utilized these skills for both industry and academic training. Presently teaching two upper level engineering courses at the University of Southern Maine - Composite Science / Advanced Materials, and Engineering Problem Solving (both courses I have personnally developed).
