About Andy Scollard

With over two decades of designing and implementing automation for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), I enjoy a challenge, learning new skills and ensuring a consistent, reliable approach to build and deploy. My passion is leveraging the latest technology to ensure simple, repeatable and secure delivery of products for both internal and external customers. I have worked with older, monolithic systems, converting their often painful install and update process into simple containers and newer java / spring boot / go / python systems, each of which are enabled to use a very streamlined process. I love to promote the use of cross-team shared templates, where possible, and implementing gateways to restrict code that doesn't meet specific objectives, such as ensuring a minimum percentage of passing test cases / code coverage, security scans (SAST/DAST), etc, to better ensure only quality and secure code makes it into production.
