About Andy Swindell

Many folks on the east coast know me from my 30 years on-and-off with The Embers Band (in business since 1958 and in the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame). Time there was fun and blessed me with almost Facebook friends! However, we played over 230 engagements per year, which did not leave much time for home and family. During that time on The Embers' bus I worked hard to become a CPA. The process to accomplish this was rigorous. A completely different skill set than playing and singing for people, but indicative of my ability to set goals and to take the steps required to accomplish those goals. Eventually, after years in accounting, I decided the profession was too solitary for my personality. I love people! I enjoy being of service! It's a pleasure to meet and make new friends!
