About Andy Valencia

Pharmacy and any other healthcare setting is where I can strive to successfully provide proper patient care through compassion and intelligence along with the utilization of gained skills. With 6+ years pharmacy experience ranging from mail order, retail, and clinical settings to name a few, I have gained valuable knowledge that has allowed me to further understand healthcare in relation to pharmacy and prescription medications. My pharmacy career began through the completion of vocational school where I graduated with a diploma in pharmacy technology from Brookline College. As a recent graduate with newly earned lincesure and certification to practice as a certified pharmacy technician, I gained employment at the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Order Pharmacy through TeamStaff Government Solutions. In deciding to further my schooling, I am a current pre-pharmacy student at the University of Arizona pursuing my Bachelor of Science In Nutrition Science as well as a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). This achievement will provide me an opportunity to continue work in a pharmacy setting as a registered pharmacist. Maintaining employment throughout my schooling through the University of Arizona Campus Health Pharmacy as well as the College of Pharmacy Medication Management Center has further prepared me to be successful in my degree ambitions.
