Andy Vallentine is a queer, dyslexic, diet-coke obsessed, director from Mid-Michigan. Andy’s debut short film, THE LETTER MEN, had its world premiere at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival which has gone on to win numerous awards at film festivals around the world. His first feature film, THE MATTACHINE FAMILY, produced by ZACH BRAFF & SCOT BOLAND, written by his husband Danny Vallentine tells the story of a queer couple and their journey to become parents. It stars NICO TORTORELLA (Younger, Apple + City on Fire), JUAN PABLO DI PACE (Fuller House), EMILY HAMPSHIRE (Schitts Creek), HEATHER MATRAZZO (Scream) & Emmy nominated CARL CLEMONS-HOPKINS (Hacks). His clients include CHARLIE PUTH, TRITONAL, MERCEDES-BENZ, THE AD COUNCIL, SEPHORA, MAC COSMETICS, MLB, PATRICK & THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS. Andy has developed content with Amy Baer at Gidden Media, Tyra Banks with Bankable, Brian Volk-Weiss with The Nacelle Group and most recently has been hard at work developing a new family thriller with his better half, Danny Vallentine. He lives with his husband and creative collaborator, writer Danny Vallentine in Los Angeles with their one year old daughter, Florence.
