CEO, Board member and Tech Entrepreneur. Former CTO at a FTSE 250 multinational manufacturer of advanced materials and industrial products, with a 30 year track record of successfully delivering business growth through new technologies and realigning business and innovation strategies for industrial and high tech companies all over the world, including over 6 years based in China. I am passionate about applying physical and digital technologies to solve the world's environmental problems and improve the quality of life for all, and have led the commercialization of $2billion of new technologies across global markets, including renewable energy, electric vehicles, medical devices, semiconductor, automotive, shipping, petrochemical, iron & steel, aluminium, and many more – reducing and decarbonising energy consumption, cleaning up pollution, and creating safer environments. I am the Co-Founder of 4 businesses; TTIP Talent - Training, Recruitment and Coaching for industrial corporates and scale-ups TTIP Strategy - M&A Support, Restructuring and Business development for Mid-sized Industrials PurEmissions - revolutionary pollution capture technology for the shipping industry. BLOK Capital - a blockchain-based crypto asset investment management platform. During my career, I have held numerous senior technology, new business development, digital transformation and P&L roles, and I have sat on the board of multiple international companies. I am a big hitting programme director, with a track record of delivering major change and restructuring programmes. I believe in the transformational power that comes from bringing people together and am particularly strong in building international teams. I have launched several new businesses across Asia, built a number of new manufacturing facilities in China, turned round struggling operations in the US and relocated and re-engineered many manufacturing lines across the world. I am a regular keynote speaker at company and industry events and teach innovation, technology commercialization and digital transformation at several business schools, including IE Business School (Madrid) and Warwick Business School (UK), in the Global Online MBA, ranked #1 & 2 in the world by FT & QS. I am author of the books ‘Transforming Technology into Profit’, ‘Cracking the Innovation Code’ and 'Building an Innovation Powerhouse'.
