Hello! I am Anees Ashraf, a dedicated Maintenance Manager with nearly 12 years of extensive experience in the Natural Gas industry. My career has been marked by a strong focus on operations and maintenance, particularly in pipeline integrity and equipment management. Currently, I serve as a Senior Manager at GAIL India Ltd, where I oversee critical operations and maintenance activities for natural gas pipelines and associated infrastructure. My technical expertise, combined with my leadership skills, allows me to drive operational excellence while ensuring the highest standards of health and safety practices.Throughout my career, I have developed a robust skill set that includes advanced gas turbine operations, project planning, and stakeholder management. I have successfully executed significant projects, such as in-line inspections and the commissioning of high-pressure pipelines, which have contributed to enhanced operational efficiency and safety. I am passionate about continuous improvement and have implemented various cost-saving techniques that have led to substantial reductions in operational expenditures. My commitment to excellence and my ability to troubleshoot complex issues have been key to my success in this field.Key Achievements- Successfully completed a HOT TAPPING operation on a 30” gas pipeline at 98 bar pressure, enabling live pipeline modification without shutdown- Led the erection and commissioning of a 200-meter High-Pressure Natural Gas pipeline, along with 1 km each of Fire Water and Instrument Air lines- Developed a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to prevent machine tripping during power failures, significantly improving system reliability- Executed In-Line Inspection (ILI) of 30”, 24”, and 18” cross-country natural gas pipelines, ensuring pipeline integrity and operational safety.
