I am an Agricultural Technologist with a strong background in precision agriculture, robotics, and mechanical design. My journey in agriculture technology has allowed me to work on retrofitting traditional farm equipment, integrating robotics with agricultural machinery, and analyzing CANbus data to create Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) for enhanced usability. Currently working as a Research Assistant at Olds College, I am involved in projects that enhance farm efficiency through automation and technology integration. My role includes: Installing and programming weather stations for real-time farm data analysis. Developing VRT-enabled manure spreaders to optimize fertilizer use. Designing and implementing HMI systems from CANbus code analysis. Integrating GIS mapping with robotics and drone automation for precision farming. Implementing PLC-controlled automation for enhanced farm equipment efficiency. With hands-on experience in mechanical troubleshooting, I am skilled in diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. My programming expertise in C++, Arduino, Python (PicoBoard), and PLC programming enables me to create customized solutions for automation and data-driven decision-making in agriculture. Beyond technical skills, I have experience in customer training and support, ensuring that farmers and agribusiness professionals can effectively utilize modern ag-tech solutions.
