About Aneesh Goel

I am a data scientist at Amazon in the advertising org, where I work on causal inference for ad-sales and marketing initiatives. I have a master's degree in business analytics from Columbia University, where I learned how to apply data science techniques to solve real-world business problems. I have strong skills in data science, machine learning, Python, and SQL. Before joining Amazon, I worked as a data scientist at Koalafi, a fintech startup that provides credit underwriting solutions. There, I built machine learning models to analyze portfolio risk and recommend data-driven insights to keep risk under control. I also interned at Zooterra, a social enterprise that uses blockchain technology to support wildlife conservation. I developed an ETL platform for automatic text extraction from 500 sustainability reports, using agile methodology and delivered an MVP in 3 months. I am passionate about using data science for social good and creating positive impact. I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I enjoy working with teams that share these values. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as technical expertise and analytical skills.
