About Aneh Njoh
I am a second year Microbiology student with a Global Health Minor with hopes to pursue a career in Global Medical Research. My interests lie in increasing biological and health literacy, especially for younger populations, and I’m passionate about addressing health disparities. This past May, I had the opportunity to volunteer in the Ashanti region of Ghana where I helped provide Malaria treatment to rural communities and shadowed physicians at Suntreso Government Hospital. This experience not only gave me valuable hands-on clinical experience but also taught me how to work within diverse cultural contexts, collaborate with global health professionals, and advocate for health causes on an international level. As I continue my undergraduate degree, I’m eager to build on this experience and gain more opportunities in research and patient care.
