About Aneri Shah

Technology is my passion. I love to learn more about new technologies and help others adapt to the ever changing technology landscape. Before becoming a Tech MBA student at NYU Stern, I was a Cyber Security specialist in Banking & Finance industry where I: 1) Advised Azure services product managers on threat monitoring scenarios 2) Analyzed external threat landscape and internal detection capabilities using industry leading MITRE framework thus detecting seven critical gaps; Collaborated with engineers to implement 12 detection use cases to mitigate these gaps 3) Expedited progress of an overdue time-critical regulatory driven project; Led it to completion within two months by identifying 200 critical commands for revamping process of insider threat risk management During that time in UBS, I also did a full-time rotation to Wealth Management team as a product analyst as I have a strong passion for designing products that help solve problems for others.
