About Ange Valentini

Ange Valentini is a government relations professional, political advisor, strategist, and community organizer. Ange Valentini has over 25 years of experience building creative solutions to complex challenges that drive social change and public good, bringing together stakeholders, influencers and decision makers across the private, public and third sector — with a focus on building relationships and stronger communities. Ange brings an optimistic, strategic lens to the challenges and opportunities facing her clients. She is a trusted advisor with influential networks in a number of sectors and jurisdictions. Through her consultancy, she has a successful track record of bringing together high impact teams and delivering advisory services to non-profits, ENGOs, Indigenous and municipal governments, and diverse business interests (ie. tourism, technology, economic development). Ange has worked in all orders of government in Canada – in the public service and as political staff. In each role, she was responsible for championing innovative and progressive policy agendas based on research, evaluation, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Working with MP Adam Vaughan, Ange convened conversations, across Canada, on infrastructure, housing, and the needs of cities. At Toronto City Hall, Ange delivered on an ambitious agenda focused on community engagement, land use planning, a parks renaissance and revitalization of social housing. This included creating new models and partnerships for affordable housing and to enhance the public realm. In previous public service roles with the City of Toronto and the Province of Ontario, she competently handled stakeholder relations, policy development, business process reviews, and issues management. Ange is a supporter, a friend, fundraiser and advocate for a number of causes. She is also a confident public speaker, facilitator and mentor. As background to her work in government, Ange played founding and leadership roles with the Toronto Young People's Advisory Board & Metro Youth Council, Young Citizens for Local Democracy and the Riverdale Community Development Corporation. She has also worked with the Child Development Institute, Youth Challenge International, Council of Canadians & Greenpeace.
