About Angel Chen

Growing up in China and studying abroad in the US and UK has shaped me into a dynamic individual with a global perspective. My academic journey spans diverse fields, with a foundation in Public Health and a Master’s in Human Resources. This blend of disciplines drives my passion for connecting people—not only based on their skills but also on their character. I began my career in Singapore, specializing in recruitment for the renewable energy, tech, and healthcare industries. This experience ignited my commitment to finding the right fit for both candidates and organizations. Afterward, I moved to Tokyo, where I spent three months with HRnet One, focusing on mid-to-senior HR positions. In this role, I was involved in the full 360 recruitment process—sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates. Currently, I am with AESC in Japan, a pioneering battery company working toward a green energy future. In this role, I was doing multiple tasks: Helping with recruitment efforts, assist with executive tasks, participate in factory visits, participating in internal communications, and take on various responsibilities. My diverse skill set allows me to support the company’s growth and mission of fostering innovation in sustainable energy. I firmly believe in investing in people first.
