About Angel Helm

Mother of three wonderful children, Austin, Grayson and Joanna. Married to Scott Helm, Founder and CEO of American Powernet, LLP. I am currently an Independent Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank -Pittsburgh where I am Chair of the Finance Committee and serve on the Audit Committee. I also serve on the Board of Trustees of the Caron Foundation where I am Vice-Chair of the Board. In addition, I serve on the Executive, Compensation and Audit Committees of Caron as well. In April of 2024, I joined the Olivet Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors and currently serve as Vice Chair of the Board. From July, 2020 through December 31, 2023, I served on the Board of Directors of the Tower Health System where I served for three years on the Finance Committee. I am a retired Trustee of Alvernia University where I co-chaired the largest capital campaign the University has ever undertaken. I also served on Alvernia's Finance, Audit and Enrollment committees. I attend Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church where I serve on the Parish Council of our Church where I was Stewardship Chair for 12 years. I retired in 2012 from Wells Fargo Securities after working 29 years in the Capital Markets as an Investment Banker. My main accomplishments during my career centered around my ability to compete, win and close bond financing transactions in my five-state territory of responsibility (closed over 650 financings during my tenure) while I managed a team of people who represented Wells Fargo Securities with the highest degree of business ethics and standards while meeting all of our stated financial goals. I have extensive knowledge of and experience in the Capital Markets and the Derivative Markets. Since my retirement in 2012, I have interviewed for and was selected by their respective Board of Directors, for two Interim CEO positions. I served as Interim CEO at Safe Berks (Women's Crisis Shelter) and The Olivet Boys and Girls Club, respectively. In addition I served as Interim COO and Strategy Specialist for Answer's Pet Food Company during 2021.
