About Angel Yon

I’m a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 10 years of post designation experience. My expertise is helping companies position themselves for growth, optimization, attracting investors, or going public by ensuring companies have the financial reporting capabilities to do so. I have managed and structured accounting and reporting processes to effectively provide the information required for management reporting and external shareholder reporting (ie. quarterly/annual reports, MD & As, AIFs). This work requires my expertise in consolidations accounting, accounting for complex transactions, managing the external audit process, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP), and project management. My success to date has been attributed to my organization skills, communication and interpersonal skills, relationships, and ambition for continuous personal development. I’m a 2008 graduate from the University of Alberta School of Business with a major in Accounting and a CPA, CA designation holder since 2011. I am passionate about community support, community building, collaborating and connecting with people.
