I love learning about people and understanding what drives them. As a marketer, I obsess over my audiences. Before I write the strategy, I spend a lot of time networking with my audience to understand them as people and professionals. I network to learn; never to sell. But I don't shy away from asking the hard questions. In my line of work, I constantly find myself wondering who are these people behind the screen? How do we meet them where they are? How can we help them? What's their STORY? I have so many questions. In fact, if I had to describe myself in one word, it's curious. It's a trait that has followed me since childhood. Thankfully, I’m fortunate to have gracious and patient parents who embraced the constant questioning. They raised me to listen with the intent to understand rather than to respond, and now I bring that idea to my craft every day.
