About Angela Dosono

1.5 Gen Filipina American immigrant raised in rural eastern Washington stateAmplifying the voices of historically excluded communities is at the heart of what drives my purpose.With experience in coalition-building, culturally-sensitive advocacy, and developing prevention/intervention nonprofit programs, I approach all corners of my professional career centering dignity-driven service and an unrelenting belief in possibilities beyond sytemic constraints.I am now advancing this work through public administration—focusing on policy research and how it can be leveraged for liberatory decision-making within all domains of the political arena. I aim to close social service disparities in rural and communities by dismantling barriers to grassroots organizing and strengthening sustainable cross-sector collaboration.Guided by both practice and lived experience, I work to critically examine and challenge existing narratives, protect community-centered investments, and design frameworks that move collective liberation from vision to durable reality.
