About Angela Eck

I am a Director of Outreach, Admissions, and Career Transition Services at Management & Training Corporation (MTC), a federal education program provider for young people. I have over six years of experience in human services, working in public libraries and workforce development. I am also a certified human resources manager with a certificate from Cornell University. My mission is to connect people and organizations with the resources and knowledge they need to thrive. I lead a team that raises awareness of Job Corps' offerings, boosts admissions, and enables successful transition into careers for Job Corps students. I also managed the human resources aspects of BCPL operations, promoting and ensuring organizational diversity and a welcoming workplace culture. Some of my accomplishments include founding a book discussion group at JCPL for incarcerated teens, managing large-scale youth programs and collections, graduating from multiple leadership training programs, becoming white-belt certified in Lean Six Sigma, and completing the Harwood Public Innovators Lab.
