Hello to all of you! I am Angela Gonzalez (Angie, to my friends) I am with Commonwealth Hotels and am the Sales Manager at the 2 yr old Holiday Inn Louisville Downtown property. I am a retired Cosmetologist with 20 years of management experience who is reinventing myself in the hotel division of the hospitality world as a Sales Manager. I had the honor of being nominated and achieving finalist as an "Outstanding Management Professional" in the November 2022 Louisville Tourism Annual Gala & ROSE Awards and am so excited to see where this path takes me in 2023 and beyond. I enjoy meeting and networking with people of all walks of life. I am on fire for tourism in our great city. I was raised in Kentucky, graduated from Jeffersontown High School Class of 1992, and attended Spalding University and Kentucky Technical college where I began my first career as an EMT/Firefighter. I am a transplanted resident of Clarksville, Indiana and am happily married to my incredible husband, Jose. Together we have 5 adult sons, 2 daughters in love, and have my first grandbaby on the way - Due in August! I am so over the moon about that, can you tell? If you made it this far, thank you!
