About Angela Hamouda

Angela is a lecturer of Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation and has extensive experience of working with students across multiple disciplines at both graduate and post graduate level. Her areas of research interest include; entrepreneurship education, female entrepreneurship and social enterprise. She has conducted research at national and international level and been involved in a number of collaborative projects which have all had the common focus of driving the entrepreneurship agenda. She has been a lead researcher and developer for the ACE (Accelerating Campus Entrepreneurship) Initiative. This national initiative has developed a framework for the third level sector in Ireland for embedding entrepreneurship education across all disciplines with the aim of creating the Entrepreneurial Graduate. Angela is a visiting lecturer at IUT Montpellier and IUT Annecy and IUT Beziers, France. She has also been an external examiner for Cork Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Sligo and IADT, Ireland. Her commitment to teaching excellence was rewarded in being the winner of the prestigious international Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching Excellence Awards in Aveiro, Portugal (2018).
