About Angela Hanson

As a former natural ecosystem scientist, I have an appreciation for the complexity of systems and a humility for working within them. I have worked in government my entire career-local, state, federal, indigenous tribal, regional, international-and believe in the public sector's role in ensuring rights, self-determination, quality of life and expression. Humans, in all their humorous, deceptive, inventive glory make my work fascinating, challenging and fun. Given the acceleration of change and social dynamics, government needs to innovate like never before. My personal mission is to catalyze and support those in and around the public sector to find new and better ways of governing and better ways of defining what governing means.
