About Angela King

As a Lead and Senior Animator, I have over 20 years of experience in creating beautiful computer animation and visual effects for various projects, including the Indian blockbuster Kalki 2898AD, Netflix's Unicorn Academy, and The Spiderwick Chronicles series with Christain Slater. I have a certificate in VFX from Capilano University, a Certificate in Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and a Diploma in 3D Computer Animation and Visual Effects from Vancouver Film School, as well as a diploma in Classical Animation. I also completed an Animation MasterClass with Hyrum Osmond, a renowned Disney animator and director. My core competencies include animating characters and creatures, leading and mentoring teams of animators, providing library full body and facial animations, including complex quadrupeds, and collaborating with other departments and clients. I am passionate about art, film, music, trivia, scavenger hunts, and anything new and challenging. I enjoy painting, writing, and learning new skills and technologies. I am currently working as a Senior Animator at EA Sports, a leading Games studio in Burnaby BC, where I work on the FC (Football Club) Team.
