About Angela Speakman

In 2022, I founded Elucidation Strategies, an education and consulting agency operating in the cannabis space in New Jersey. Our mission is to help people and organizations make informed decisions when it comes to cannabis. Through education programs like Cannabis Community Conversations and Green Shoulder and strategic planning services, ES brings invaluable historical context and a practical approach to any discussion involving cannabis. Because of my professional background in communications and my belief in the wellness properties of cannabis, it was a natural fit to start working with Stockton University in 2022. Since then, I've created courses that explore cannabis and communications, that specifically examine how individual perspective and public opinion form through a historical lens. That typically creates an ideal circumstance to evaluate how our views, simultaneously on an individual and societal level, on cannabis form and how that impacts today. My passion project is creating and co-hosting the cannabis history and mystery podcast “Use This As You See Fit: The Diary of Mari." It's infotainment and happens to be a great way to trick people into learning about cannabis history. It’s furthers destigmatization, which needs to be part of the path forward.
