About Angela Sutton

I am a Senior, graduation January 2023 (note: classes end in December), at St. Josephs University- Long Island as a math major with minors in computer science and philosophy. My background includes experience with Java, Python, SQL, and Qiskit in classroom, research, and professional work. Additionally, I enjoy communicating ideas about mathematics and computers with people of various educational levels and backgrounds. In a world where technology is essential, I believe it is of great importance to express new developments to not only those in the field but everyone. The ability to explain is something that I have practiced for years and grown from my work as a tutor both as a volunteer and with Varsity Tutors. This is also something I emphasized in my student leadership roles for the mathematics and philosophy clubs at my college as I often gave presentations to the wider student body. In a professional capacity, I have experience with technical writing in Confluence with the intention to develop materials useful to programmers and business personnel.
