About Angela Walsh

As a well-established Advancement and Communications professional, I’ve consistently utilized my deep knowledge of community outreach and fundraising to advocate for change that benefits society as a whole. My experience has encompassed strategic roles at the Virginia Living Museum, Virginia Zoo, and Bon Secours Hampton Roads Foundations. Typically, I developed strategic communications, marketing and fundraising campaigns closely aligned with the broader organizational mandates. In each role, I created and launched highly effective, multi-channel, donor-centric campaigns, and drove fundraising to new heights. Collaboration, which is fundamental to fundraising success, is second nature to me. I routinely work with cross-functional teams and diverse boards of directors to create concepts that ensure unified brand identity and messaging. I am also accustomed to using my creative mindset to motivate team members and junior staff, optimize team workflow and budget resources, and foster strong, sustainable relationships inside the organization and with external partners and clients.I am always interested in connecting with other professionals who strive to attain their organizational goals through strategic marketing, communications, and fundraising.
