I am currently the Equipment Accountability Element Supervisor for the 140th Logistic Readiness Squadron United States Air National Guard. The mission of the 140th Logistics Readiness Squadron is to provide POL, deployment planning, material management, and transportation services to the 140th Wing, Colorado National Guard, and the Department of Defense in order to meet the needs of our community, state, nation. Ensure inventory schedule is distributed to Equipment Custodians NLT 31 December each year. Initiate distribution of Equipment Custodian CA/CRL (R14) inventories through ILS-S and SPRAM (R25) IAW 23-122. I ensure custodians are adequately performing their accountability responsibilities by verifying accountability of all capital equipment, Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and a 10% random sample of remaining accountable assets. As a liaison between Equipment Custodian and NGB to order, turn-in, transfer, loan and dispose of equipment assets. Ensure valid Unit Type Codes (UTC), Use Codes, and Allowance Source Codes (ASC) are assigned. Monitor the equipment excess program. Ensure TORC validations are performed bi-annually or as requested. Maintain Master CA/CRL Jacket Files IAW AFMAN 23-122. Review and enter required information into AFEMS for Chief Financial Officer (CFO) assets.I am in charge of ensuring and validating UTC codes for all accounts and allowance source codes, in order to verify that Air Force assets are properly allocation in accordance to guidelines. I also maintain and monitor the equipment excess program on a regular basis. I generated and maintain a digital folders database for all the Equipment accounts, maximizing our ability to research and help customers. This consist of all document properly placed in the correct tabs per the checklist. Block Certificates for all the Custodians new and old. I make sure that all the accounts have an updated R14 for the current and Previous year and generating After Action Reports reporting the finding of my inspections. I maintain a close relationship with the MAJCOM CEMO, GLSC, and NGB Headquarters in order to comply with recurring taskings and dissemination of information related to Equipment Accountability operations. These duties entails facilitating Allowance Source Code updates, AF601 submissions, AFSC specific equipment upgrades or replacements, among other
