Background

About Angelo Ford

I am a Film Professor with experience as a USAF Officer. My service time was primarily piloting the C-17A Globemaster on worldwide humanitarian and combat missions. After the military I worked in procurement, supply chain and logistics while earning an MBA. I developed an interest in storytelling as a young child and made "movies" as a hobby and then as a distraction from undergraduate business school. While working on my Master's Degree in Business I met a group of filmmakers and worked as a Production Manager on their independent Feature Film. I returned to Graduate school for an MFA in Film and TV Producing. I've worked on thirty or so productions between the United States and United Kingdom and found passion in teaching Producing and the filmmaking process. My teaching experience is primarily college level with a focus on Independent Producing, Introduction to Filmmaking, Cross Cultural Cinema, History and Appreciation of American Cinema, Writing for Film & TV and Media Aesthetics. I have instructed in person and am certified for teaching online distance education as well.
