About Angelo Rafeli

I'm a ambitious individual and highly motivated about technologies and innovation. I'm a software engineer and currently, at my company and for a project of the "Sapienza" University of Rome called "New Teaching and Student System", I hold the role of Technical Manager of Application Development. Furthermore, I have the technical responsibility and management of the development group of many other projects managed by my company. I have a full stack background with a strong bias toward backend development. I work mainly using JVM, Java8, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, MySql. At the beginning of my career I worked on the mainframe using cobol. I have worked for many scientific research projects. I have some little experience with Nodejs and Nosql database such as MongoDB and ElasticSearch. I have some experience as Mobile Software Engineer using Flutter framework and Firebase. I am interested on challenging problems such as performance, scalability, optimization, algorithm design and I'd like to improve my knowledge about Serverless and Reactive programming.
