I consider myself a doer who takes action and gets the job done. Someone who is always looking for the next challenge and enjoys helping clients, partners, and co workers building long lasting relationships in the process. Creating relationships throughout my career has always been one of my favourite things. Working beside someone day in and day out can be trying at times but it can also be rewarding as well. Letting people get to know you and understanding how you think enables you to communicate better and achieve your goals. Having helped with corporate functions such as golf tournaments, Christmas parties and countless other events has given me exposure to countless people in an organization. Social events are a great way to meet people within a company and give you the chance to meet executives and others in a casual environment. What a great way to network. Not reinventing the wheel and trying to follow the “Work smart, not hard” mentality has helped me come up with very satisfying and rewarding solutions. One example was the way in which customer service was handling refunds with clients. The solution was fairly straight forward involving the use of existing technologies and a script designed to recreate the manual process. The result was a savings of 90% in manual effort freeing up customer service agents to deal with other matters.
