About Angelo Tinazzi

I have more than 20 years of experience in the field of Clinical Research in the area of data-management and statistical programming with different roles in Academic Organizations, CROs and Pharmaceutical Industries, in Italy, Switzerland and UK. SAS, data standards (CDISC SDTM and ADaM), data submission and people management is my main expertise. Prior to joining Cytel, I worked at Merck Serono, SENDO Foundation, Phamarcia & Upjohn, Simbologica SAS Quality Partner, the UK Medical Research Council and the Institute for Pharmacological Research “Mario Negri”. I'm a member of the European CDISC Committee (E3C) since 2015 where I also manage the Italian speaking user network. In 2018 I became a CDISC Authorized Instructors for ADaM. I'm certified in "CDISC Tabulate" since 2021. Since 2016 I'm member of the PhUSE EU conference committee and from 2013 I'm member of the IBIG scientific committee (the Italian Association of Biometricians working in the industry, former BIAS). I'm also a regular presenter at conferences such as PhUSE and CDISC Europe Interchange on different topics ranging from CDISC to SAS and therapeutic area related presentations.
