About Angie Westfall

Specialty: Historic Preservation. In my role as an architectural historian, my time is spent conducting historic structure assessments, writing reports, and acting as the historic architecture consultant as part of multi-firm projects involving historic structures. Previously, I was the Architecture Branch Chief for the State of Hawaii Historic Preservation Division (Hawaii’s SHPO), which provided the opportunity to acquire experience working on a very diverse range of private, state, and federal projects. I have broad Section 106 experience and have authored National Register Nominations, HABS reports, Historic Structures Reports, Determinations of Eligibility, Historic Management and Maintenance Guidelines, Historic Inventory Reports, Programmatic and Memorandum of Agreements, feasibility studies, and various other historic preservation planning documents. I meet the Secretary of the Interior’s qualifications for Architecture, Historic Architecture and Architectural History and am also a long-time volunteer for two local historic non-profits. Specialty: Project management, and architectural and interior design. Architectural experience includes new and existing residential and small commercial projects, historic restoration and rehabilitation, and adaptive-reuse projects.
