About Angilee Taranto

I am a local government professional with over fifteen years experience in policy development, project management, stakeholder coordination, strategic planning and program development and implementation. I am currently working as a Social Planning & Policy Officer at Brimbank City Council. In this role, I am responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to guide the council’s approach to enhance safety in the municipality. On a personal level, I am a driven, organised, approachable and calm natured person and have the ability to work well with various people to achieve outcomes. I am highly passionate about improving community health and wellbeing. I have a Bachelor of Health Science (Health Promotion and Psychology majors) and have participated in extensive in-house and external training including: Leadership Essentials, The New Supervisor training course (Australian Institute of Management), Emotional Intelligence, Project Management and Public Speaking.
