About Angus Antley

I am a Virtual Reality Developer and Researcher with extensive experience in Virtual Reality, Real-time Avatar Inverse Kinematics, and Hardware-Software Integration. I have a passion for Rapid Prototyping and Experimenting Technologies, and my research experiments and broader work have been driven by this philosophy. I am passionate about creating virtual environments in which users can learn and interact with their whole bodies in Virtual Reality. I enjoy bringing avatars to life, and am looking for projects and partnerships in which full body presence is integral to the product. I have earned over 1500 academic citations and top-tier, international media coverage for work in my field, including BBC, Wired Magazine, Time Magazine, and The Guardian. I built two laboratory setups, one at University of Oxford and one at University College London, both with extensive hardware demands and personalized software development requirements. I recently crossed-over from Academia into the VR industry in the San Francisco Bay Area in order to gain broader impact with my work in VR.KEY SKILLS: Full Body Real-Time Inverse Kinematics; Responsive Virtual Characters; Animation Graphs; Recurrent Neural Networks; SciKit; TensorFlow; Avatars; C++; JavaScript; C#; Unity; Faceshift; VR User Experience; VR Strategic Development; Business Development; Strategic Planning
