I graduated from Western Washington University with my MS in Computer Science in Fall 2023 and I'm now looking for work as a software engineer or a data scientist.During undergrad, my elective coursework was centered around math (linear algebra and statistics), as well as AI (Classical, ML, NLP). My undergraduate research was developing a program called brainviewer which allowed a user to interact with a voxelized representation of a mouse's brain. This representation is displayed to the user as a heatmap which depicted the estimated connection strength of different areas in the brain.Link to paper: https://arxiv.org/abs/2205.02291During my graduate studies I have been a research assistant, as well as a TA/grader for several courses, primarily focusing on algorithms (CSCI 241, 305, 405). My graduate research has been focused on ML applications to tensor completion/recovery. Specifically, I have been analyzing and benchmarking different methods of tensor completion (max-quasinorm, poisson), as well as the method being used to generate a sparse set of observations (hypergraph expansion, uniform random).
