Nelson joined Cal State LA in January 2024, bringing with her a distinguished 23-year career at Cal State Fullerton. In her role as Director of Strategic Presidential Engagement and Deputy Chief of Staff, Anh is instrumental in supporting President Eanes and fostering collaborative relationships within the university and the broader community. As Deputy Chief of Staff, she leverages her expertise to enhance university-wide initiatives, manage critical projects, and provide leadership in building essential relationships. A member of the President's Cabinet, Anh handles sensitive executive duties and serves as a vital liaison between the President's Office and various campus stakeholders. Prior to her current position, Anh held diverse roles at Cal State Fullerton, including Health Services Analyst, where she oversaw administrative operations and played a key part in the university's COVID-19 response efforts, including the mass testing site and contact tracing initiatives. Her extensive experience also encompasses leadership roles such as Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs and various positions within the Pollak Library, demonstrating a deep understanding of university administration and operations.
