About Anika Albrecht

If you read this, you probably want to find out a little more about me, so I prepared a brief overview for you- born and raised in Hamburg (in case that's relevant to you)- needed a little break and change of scenery after school, so I decided to spend one year in Australia (and learned what it means to work as a dish washer, waitress and nanny - tough but very valuable times!)- I love to get to know brands at their core, to develop strategies that build an emotional connection with their target audience(s)- in my heart, I'm a little nerd, who gets excited about sustainable innovations (especially in tech) and everything that protects our planet and animals of all kind - I'm also extremely passionate about health & fitness Since this is not Instagram, I also summarised what my professional life taught me so far- my dual studies allowed me to gain local and global experience in Digital Marketing, Corporate Communications and Global Media Management at NIVEA / Beiersdorf - I supported the global rollout of the corporate BDF website and the relaunch of the nivea.de website - for 4 months, I joined the local NIVEA marketing team in Bangkok, Thailand - after my studies, I worked as a consultant and project manager for multiple design and innovation projects covering a wide range of different industries and various clients - I got the chance to go on a world-trip right before the pandemic started and shared my experiences on (more posts are still in progress.)- during the pandemic, I finished a master's degree at Lund University in „International Marketing & Brand Management“ with a strong focus on consumer culture, the value of brands in our society and innovation practices based on consumer insights – complemented with a CSR & sustainability minor - for 1 year, I jumped back into the agency life and helped brands to be themselves, visually and in communications - right now, I am diving into the world of finance and work as a marketing & brand manager at Albrecht, Kitta & Co. while trying to create the occasional (and hopefully valuable) post on LinkedIn
