As a Data-Analyst Intern at ASHVA All-Terrain Equipment, I had the opportunity to work on multiple attachments vehicles and equipment’s in order to optimize their scheduling, reduce excess inventory and improve their overall usage. Through the analysis of usage data, I was able to identify patterns and optimize scheduling resulting in a 10% decrease in idle time. Additionally, using SQL, I was able to query and manipulate data from the database and develop predictive models to forecast demand, which led to a 20% reduction in excess inventory. To ensure data quality and consistency across multiple data sources, such as GPS tracking and maintenance records, I conducted data cleaning and preprocessing using Python and Pandas. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data-driven solutions to business problems, using Agile methodologies to manage projects and prioritize tasks. During my internship as an NPD Intern at Ramkrishna Forgings Limited, I had the opportunity to work on product specifications and documentation for various sectors like Automotive, Railways, and Farm Equipment both in India & overseas markets. I developed a database to track product development progress and identify areas for improvement, which resulted in a 12% reduction in product development time. I also coordinated with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of components, which resulted in a 5% decrease in lead time. Additionally, I assisted in the design and testing of new products to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Lastly, I created and delivered presentations to senior management on project progress and recommendations for process improvement. Overall, my experience as a Data-Analyst Intern and NPD Intern have provided me with valuable skills in data analysis, SQL querying, data cleaning, and preprocessing using Python and Pandas, project management using Agile methodologies, product development, and testing. I am excited to continue growing my skills and contributing to the success of future projects.
