About Aniket Tari

As a Writer-Director, I aim to tell the most evocative stories possible; ones that connect with people on a molecular level, whether in fiction, non-fiction or advertising. I currently work with with Owled Media as Head of Production to ideate and produce quality brand commercials and branded content by collaborating with rising talent. My passion for storytelling and innovation has driven me to pursue a career in branded content and advertising, where I have over 9+ years of experience as a director, producer, writer, and editor. As a Creative Director at Ultrahuman, I built video content across the platform, from ideation to execution, collaborating with a talented team of producers, writers, designers and editors in India and overseas. I leveraged my domain expertise in digital communication and media to create engaging and impactful stories that resonated with the audience and aligned with the brand vision and values.I began my career with a start-up called Culture Machine that instilled in me a work ethic of hard and meaningful work. Some of my notable achievements include winning the National Award for Best Investigative Documentary for 'Amoli: Priceless' in the role of an Executive Producer and the Foxglove Award for Branded Content for Nestlé's 'Dhusra: Winds of Change' as a Director and Producer. At Alt Balaji, I worked with phenomenal emerging writers to develop compelling long-form stories for OTT and, concurrently, built a vast network of writers and directors. As a creative professional, I aim to capture the viewer's attention as quickly as possible, while delivering the story I aim to tell by taking them on a roller coaster ride with me. All this can be achieved with sharp technical know-how and a keen understanding of storytelling that I continue to explore further as I grow in my profession. Some of my ex-bosses have described me as a "Cheetah of video content", referring to my skillset with being fast in delivery and shoots while being sharp with my budgets, optimising them to the maximum capacity while keeping the quality intact.In my spare time, you'll find me binge-watching TV shows, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, gallivanting across the country and creating reels for Instagram. Guess I'm a content creator even in my free time.
